Inspiration Healthcare are pleased to announce the availability of the Tecotherm TS Med 200N has been CE Marked specifically for the indication of cooling newborn babies.

Inspiration have been working closely with the manufacturer Tec-Com about changing the Tecotherm unit that had been used on the TOBY Study to a version that has been designed specifically to meet the requirements for long term cooling of babies.

The new TS Med 200N keeps all the benefits of the old Tecotherm in its simple to operate approach but has been re-designed inside to include a better pump and chiller unit (designed for continuous use), as well as better engineering on the PCB's.   On the outside, familiar users will recognise the same temperature controls, but will see additional alarm features, such as 'low fluid', 'low flow' etc to highlight problems than can arise during a low cooling period.
